Born in Indianapolis, Indiana. After graduating from Indiana University, I taught high school English for two years. I later worked in a private ESL academy where I taught English to foreign students from all over the globe and later become the Assistant Director of the academy.
In 1985, I moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and started a housesitting and petsitting company called Barry's Castle Keepers....for bonded care, when you're not there.
When I moved to Austin, Texas in 1996, I started Arranging It All, a professional organizing and move management company, and sold this company in 2018. I now own and operate PackingMovingUnpacking.com, a national company helping people find the best service providers to ensure that they will have a smooth and stress-free move.
I served as NAPO's President from 2003-2007, served as Secretary from 2011-2012 and as Immediate Past President from 2013-2014.
