Authorship & Publishing SIG is designed for published authors who seek a community of peers with whom to network and collaborate. The term “published authors” encompasses NAPO members who write blogs, e-zines, newsletters, columns, feature stories, articles for professional publications or journals, research articles, industry reports, white papers, audio/video scripts, book chapters, or books for print or digital distribution.

SIG members connect face-to-face at NAPO’s annual Conference, and virtually in their SIG’s POINT community,  and during monthly conference calls.  SIG calls enable peers to share marketing strategies to gain more writing work, writing ideas, topics and techniques, as well as benchmark their progress and discuss challenges such as writer’s block, self-publishing and distribution.

Members of this SIG are required to have a minimum of three years of experience as a writer (whether paid or unpaid). The writing experience can be in fields other than professional organizing and productivity.

SIG members are NOT required to have been compensated for writing.
