The Photo Organizers SIG is for Professional Organizers who organize both printed photos and digital photos/videos. This work may include a wide range of photo organization, creation, and management services providing clients with systems and solutions for their memories. Services may include scanning prints, creating traditional and digital photo albums, providing technology training, creating photo gifts, video slideshows, and/or converting outdated media. Photo Organizers may install back-up systems and other methods for keeping their clients’ photos safe so those images can be enjoyed for future generations. Photo Organizers may work alongside their clients, or without their client present.

To qualify for the Photo Organizers SIG, members must:
  • Have a minimum of 1-year experience organizing printed photos.
  • Have a minimum 2 years of experience organizing digital photos / videos.
  • Prominently indicate on their website that photo organizing is a specific service offering.
  • As part of the SIG application, applicants must provide a short written statement describing the kinds of photo/video organizing they do and share their two favorite technology tools for organizing digital images.
